This is over a year old, but it is so absurd that I need to put it in here:
Amazon has locked all the Amazon Kindle users out of their legally purchased copy of "1984" and "Animal Farm". Of all the books they could lock or delete
or censor they chose George Orwell. Who needs cinema if you can have real life satire.
Oh and this week, they topped this off by first
locking the hosting servers for Wikileaks, just to
sell the documents on that pages as a Kindle e-book later!
Die Meldung ist zwar schon über ein Jahr alt, aber die ist so großartig absurd, daß es das wert ist.
Amazon sperrt den Käufern der Kindle Versionen von "1984" und "Animal Farm" die Leseberechtigung. Von allen Büchern die sie
zensieren zurückziehen könnten haben sie sich ausgerechnet George Orwells Werke ausgesucht? Das ist doch Realsatire! Und dann setzen sie diese Woche noch einen drauf und
sperren zuerst das Webhosting von Wikileaks nur um ein paar Tage später die Dokumente als
ebook für den Kindle zu verkaufen!
